Coaching of ALC

The third part of the strategy is to establish accountability through an on going coaching and mentoring program.  A coach will be assigned to each grant recipient.  Coaches will work with the CEO to insure the quality of the accounting and CES information, interpret reports and evaluate progress in meeting the goals of the non-profit.  They will also refer the non-profits to other resources and support that is available from ALC, other non-profit or government services.  The coach is the key to keeping the grant recipient on target to accomplish their mission effectively.  Teamwork brings success.

A coach should have the following skills and qualities of character:

  • Proficiency at interpreting financial information.
  • Have a heart for helping others.
  • Relate to the mission of the faith based organization.
  • Possess effective communication skills.
  • Be an experienced executive or consultant.

Retired executives, CPA's or consultants would be good candidates for these coaching.
